As a professional Web developer, I enjoy working with people who are professional in their approach. I am proud of my teamwork and communication skills as I believe these are key to delivering a successful end product.

About me

As you’ll see from my portfolio, I’ve worked with some big brand names – Volkswagen, KLM, Cointreau, Auchan, to name but a few. I began my career working as a Java Developer in Budapest for 6 years, then I moved to the Netherlands.

I’ve now worked for a dutch advertisement agency full-time and occasionally I do freelance projects in my spare time. Check out my portfolio and see what I could do for you.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

As one of the most popular brands in my home country of Hungary, Heineken-owned Soproni beer is very close to my heart.

The new site is packed full of information about the process of making beer, the history of the brand, downloadable videos and images and much more, so it needed to be laid out in such a way that the user is not overwhelmed.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

VW wanted to have a new site for the 2011 sumer roadshow.

This site allows visitors to register for a VW test drive, check out on a map where the road show will be going, know more about VW’s latest inovations and cars. All this was achieved on a custom built CMS, with some extra Javascript trickery to improve the user experience, and for us to show off.

PROJECT

Centrum multivitamin

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Centrum is a popular brand of multivitamins that needed a microsite for their summer campaign. In order to help customers to find out the location of their nearest Centrum-stocking pharmacy, with the added lure of a free summer gift, the challenge here was to create an easy-to-use mapping and route-planning facility in Javascript. By entering the name of the pharmacy, a city name, zip code, or even part of a zip code, site visitors are able to search for their vitamin stockist via a simple yet powerful interface.

ABOUT THIS PROJECT

As a web developer, I like to take inspiration from others. There is a lot of great design out there, but because it’s scattered across the Web, I needed a place to collect my online clippings. Since most bookmarking sites only allow you save links, I created my very own Firefox plugin that can grab a screenshot and upload it to ilikeyourdesign.com. It’s my online scrapbook that I can tag and share on Twitter, Facebook and other social networks.

About me

I graduated from the Budapest College of Technology in 2002 and have worked in software and web development ever since then. It’s my passion. I love to find simple and elegant solutions to complex problems and produce clear, clean websites with a high-impact user experience.

I’ve worked with some big brand names – Volkswagen, KLM, Cointreau, Auchan, to name but a few. I began my career working as a Java Developer in Budapest for 6 years, then I moved to the Netherlands.

When I’m not developing a cool new app, or building an awesome website, I like to be inspired by design blogs and books such as Getting Real or Long Tail. I watch Supernatural, South Park and Family Guy, and also practice archery (because I still kind of believe in my childhood fantasy that I’m really Robin Hood :) ).
